I need to do a bit more research into this, but after reading this article, I'm very concerned for my art! I don't want anyone to steal it (it's the most horrible, helpless feeling), and I don't want anyone else's art to be stolen either. So, I'm going to start plastering a watermark on each piece I submit, and I'm going to urge you to do the same! As artists we need to band together and protect ourselves. Please don't find yourself taken advantage of. Do all you can to protect your work: your work is totally unique, it's one-of-a-kind, and the idea that people can just run around and grab whatever they please because they found it first is NOT OK!
So, to protect my work from those people out there, I'm going to start including a watermark.
What kinds of things do you do to protect yourself? And don't tell me we shouldn't be posting our work online. The world wide web is a huge marketing tool now, you cannot expect to survive without it. It's worth the risk! With that being said, what can we do to keep that risk low?
Blessings,
Jess

Moving On!
Hey y'all, I'm so sorry I've been absent! I guess I've been falling away from this side of the interwebs. Forgive me!
So I'm getting ready to launch my comic *finally*
First I'm going to get through a six month vocational school for programming and web development and I'm soooo excited! But in the meantime I'll be posting preliminary sketches and previews until I get the site up and running. I think I'll have to let my dA die though, I'm just not on here enough at all!
Follow the comic on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/gryphonseye/
and Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/the_gryphons_eye/
and Twitter! https://twitter.com/GryphonsEye
I did indeed get a tumblr
I gave in! But the majority of my art will still be posted here; my tumblr is called "You Know You Married a Cop When..." and it's going to be about the crazy life of being an officer's lady-wife (as he calls me now that we've been watching Game of Thrones :giggle:). Please check it out!

There's only one on there right now but I've got a nice long list of things I'd like to draw for it, so I'm hoping to update it fairly regularly!
Like, you know you married a cop when you spend your first Valentine's Day as a married couple doing a ride-along because he's working, so you have to spend your time wat
Wow
Phil and I just put money down on a house. WHAT IS GOING ON LIFE YOU'RE MOVING SO FAST NOW
(soooo excited!)
